On the occasion of the International Archives Day on 9 June 2019, the State Archives shares on its website a sketch and photographs of the Cathedral of St. Sophia (St. Nicolas) in the occupied town of Famagusta from the Secretariat Archives Collection. The records are posted due to the architectural similarity between St. Sophia and the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, wishing for the speedy restoration of the destroyed Cathedral in Paris.
