On 20 April 2005, the State Archives welcomed teachers and the enclaved students of the occupied Rizokarpaso Gymnasium. During the workshop entitled “Rizokarpaso through the Archives”, the role of the State Archives was presented and students acquainted themselves with Cyprus history and in particular the history of their village Rizokarpaso using original archival sources and completing a questionnaire entitled “Researching the Archives I Learn”. Thereafter, the students had the opportunity to get to know the conservation methods used in the Conservation Unit of the State Archives.
