The Minister of Justice and Public Order, Mr Ionas Nicolaou, departs for Moscow, today, in order to participate in the celebrations held for the 295th anniversary from the day the Russian Prosecution Service was founded.
In the framework of his visit, Mr Nicolaou is going to have meetings with the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Mr Chaika Yuri Yakovlevich and with the Deputy Prosecutor General, Mr Saak Karapetyan, in order to discuss issues relating to mutual legal assistance.
Mr Nicolaou returns to Cyprus on Sunday, 15 January.
